Make Your Own Scrunchies!

Sewing Scraps

Using only a small amount of fabric (leftover scraps), I taught myself to make Hair Scrunchies.  Here's how:

Materials needed:  Any Fabric 18" x 4", a rubber band or 8" of 1/4" wide elastic.  (cheaper to use rubber bands)

  1. Cut 18" x 4" of any fabric.

  2. Fold and press (optional) long sides together.

  3. Sew right sides together.

  4. Turn fabric right side out.

  5. Cut rubber band.

  6. On your finger, scrunch up fabric all the way, then put rubber band through and tie ends of rubber band together.

  7. Sew ends of fabric together.

  8. You have a homemade scrunchie!
